Instructor: Stephen Wysocki
Over the last several years Steve has been teaching one day Plein Air and Studio painting workshops at Richeson Art School in Kimberly, Wisconsin.
Stephen Wysocki is a 1996 graduate of UW Green Bay with a Studio Art degree emphasis in painting with a minor in graphic design. He has been Plein Air painting and competing for the last 10 years. Recent events have been a featured artists at the 2019 Door County Plein Air Festival and has been juried into the 2020 Lighthouse Plein Air Festival Tequesta FL.
This is a beginning level Plein Air class geared toward acrylics and oil paints. Stephen will show you how he approaches his subjects, simplifies his images and brings his painting to its finished stage.
There will be 2 breaks 12:00 (30 minutes ) and 2:00 (15 minutes)
Stephen will do a demonstration painting while explaining techniques. Then everyone will start on their own painting and he will instruct and guide them toward a finished work. There is no guarantee that everyone will finish a painting.
There is a maximum of 12 students in the class. The class will not be held if there are less than 4 students.
